Funkytown

I am in funky town...and have been for a while. Sometimes the grey is a respite from the technicolor of life outside. I saw my first glimpse of yellow today when I heard that Garth is adopted, and is much loved. Leaving him almost tore my heart in two.

Canoe and I have been putting miles under our feet, and his attitude is improving...and I might like him again...a little.

I am thankful for all my blessings...just under the blanket.

Hooray for Garth!

I'll tell Lipps Inc they don't need an additional backup singer. Maybe they'll sign your release from Funkytown...

"Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot", Sting

In the olden days, you were allowed to gnash your teeth, pull out our hair and rip at your clothes. If you did that now, they'd put you in the psycho ward. I think the olden days are probably fairer.

I love you, gentle heart. Beat strong. Beat in a new day. XOXO
