when our siamese was a baby she explored the cabinet under our tv one day and got shut in there all day while i was at work. i came home and could hear her crying, but couldn't hear find her. i finally opened it and out she popped. this is the same cat at 9 years old got shut in our bedroom for 7 days without food or water while we were on vacation and came out bebopping like nothing was wrong. siamese cats rule the world.
